About this event

Welcome to the first #TechSoupChat of the year. We will be hosting monthly twitter chats and we want to hear from you!

Does your organization use #apps to schedule food donation pick up and delivery? Do you own a business that donates regularly to food banks and pantries through apps? How are apps and technology creating solutions for food insecurity work, addressing hunger, and food waste?

We’ll host a series of conversations on twitter to gain insight on how to help and share creative tech solutions to relevant problems faced by our communities.

Tweetchat Questions

  • Q1 - Which apps help reduce #FoodWaste?
  • Q2 - Which apps can be used to create food sharing systems inside communities?
  • Q3 - When should a food insecurity organization consider creating their own apps?
  • Q4 - Who can help #NonprofitsOrganizations design their own apps?
  • Q5 - Do you have a personal story of apps that made an impact on your community?

Here’s how you can participate in our Tweet Chat

  2. Respond to the questions posted by the @TechSoup account with comments or quote retweets
