The GivingTuesday information session is about how individuals, organisations, networks, and businesses can leverage the biggest generosity movement in the world. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Participants will learn how to participate and engage with the movement alongside leveraging TechSoup and it’s resources. Sessions provide a chance to build networks, build capacity for campaigns, further integrate into the Giving Tuesday community, and meet movement leaders.

Through the session we hope to

• Create awareness about Giving Tuesday
• Share strategies on maximising Giving Tuesday digital campaigns
• Present TechSoup as a veritable resource to the Giving Tuesday Community
• Foster community engagement, participation and ownership
