Data often gets a bad rap and as digital consumers [humans], we’re questioning more and more where and how our data is being used. However, we rarely appreciate the positive side of data. Harnessed in the right way, data provides a powerful opportunity for enormous positive impact. Tech for Good NZ and chnnl are proud to bring you a panel of extraordinary humans, who are harnessing data for good and making meaningful impact. Kicking off at 5:30pm, the format for the evening will be: Tech for Good New Zealand is a network bringing together those interested in how technology is used within social impact projects and organisations. Whether you are a charity, community group, social enterprise, tech whizz, digital marketer, or just someone interested in social tech, these events are to help make these connections and create a supportive, collaborative community around tech for good and enabling social impact in Auckland and beyond. Our events are informal and foster discussion with a mix of speakers from innovation and social change organisations, and case studies from across the social impact sector. There will be opportunity to share ideas, your projects, your challenges and opportunities and we also encourage those across the digital tech and creative industries to get involved and share experiences and knowledge on technology as an enabler for change.
