Join us for a facilitated virtual roundtable discussion, bringing public, private and VCSE organisations and networks together to contribute knowledge, skills and resources for actionable next steps. We will discuss how to enable the expertise of our regional tech sector to support charities, community organisations and social impact initiatives more broadly.
Amongst those joining the discussion will be representatives from the following organisations
- SR2 (https://sr2rec.co.uk/)
- BANES 3SG (https://www.3sg.org.uk/)
- Quartet Community Foundation (https://quartetcf.org.uk/)
- BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT - Bristol & Bath Branch (https://www.bcs.org/)
- West of England Combined Authority (https://www.westofengland-ca.gov.uk/)
- The Meeting Ground (http://www.themeetingground.org/)
This event is an open invite to anyone in this network and beyond, but with the requirement that people attending have an intention to learn more or take action on tech volunteering.
Lucy is a facilitator, learning designer and founder of Catalysts Club. She works with organisations of all kinds to help them increase their impact, particularly on their social and environmental considerations. She particularly enjoys bringing playfulness, humour and creativity into topics that can feel weighty, making inclusive, insightful and feel-good spaces where teams can do their best work.
Before shifting to facilitation, she worked for fifteen years across the UK non-profit sector with a specialism in advocacy and governmental influencing.
She remains very much a campaigner at heart and is also a qualified coach, community organiser, Lego Serious Play facilitator and trained mediator.
She’s from the West Midlands originally, but Bristol is very much home these days.
