TechSoup Connect London Chapter
This was our first face to face session in almost three years! We provided a safe and open space for attendees to learn and share key digital challenges facing their charity; identify common themes, and started looking at ideas for tackling them. This also gave us ideas to follow up with in future meet ups.
We started the session with a presentation summarising the key findings that have emerged from the recently published Charity Digital Skills Survey 2022.
We then ran workshop sessions using Liberating Structures facilitation techniques which gave attendees an opportunity to share problems, hear from others and start to work together to see how these issues might be tackled.
Our overall aim, as always, was to provide a friendly environment where people can meet and network with other people from similar organisations - smaller London based charities or technologists and freelancers looking to help the charity sector - facing similar problems.
