    About this event

Digital safety is paramount for victims of domestic violence as abusers often misuse technology to control, monitor, or harm their victims. Ensuring digital security is vital for maintaining privacy, safeguarding against cyberstalking, and preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information. A combination of security hygiene practices can be used to help prevent abusers from accessing someone’s digital life, and using robust cybersecurity software is a great place to start.

Through a unique partnership, Norton and TechSoup offer knowledge and digital security tools to protect survivors of domestic abuse, human trafficking, and sexual assault. TechSoup is providing eligible nonprofits security product licenses to distribute them to survivors (Domestic Violence Survivor Support).

Join us for an insightful conversation focused on enhancing digital security and resilience for these vulnerable groups. Explore strategies to protect against online threats and empower survivors in reclaiming their digital autonomy.
